With renowned oceanographer Sylvia Earle.

Hello, welcome to my website! I’m currently the environmental reporter at Rhode Island Public Radio in Providence. I’ve worked for several public radio organizations, including Minnesota Public Radio, National Public Radio, and APM’s Marketplace, in various capacities: reporter, producer, researcher, production and editorial assistant, freelancer, and intern. My work, past and present, will live here. My other areas of specialty reporting include changing demographics and immigration.

I have a master’s degree in science education from the University of Washington-Seattle (you can read more about my teaching journey under my Teaching page). I earned my bachelor’s degree in political science from American University in Washington, D.C.

Thank you for visiting!

Oh! And the beautiful artwork on my website? lllustrated by my talented friend Kiera Faber.
